FUNDING
The lion’s share of the School’s revenue comes from regular donations from child sponsorship. The rest is from one off donations, appeals, and fund raising events held by supporters.
ANY DONATION is extremely welcome. Many children are sponsored but not all. Ideally we would like to cover some of the major running expenses with annual income streams from regular direct debit donations. This gives us a low risk, ongoing, and sustainable income.

SPONSOR A CHILD When you sponsor a child you are providing everything the child needs to thrive and succeed in life, very much as you would for a child of your own: food, clothing, medical care, family support, a first class education and the emotional and psychological support which is frequently not forthcoming in the child’s home. As a sponsor you will receive a profile of your child’s circumstances, updates on the child’s progress, school reports, and will be able to send and received letters from your sponsored child.
There is a minimum donation of £10.

HUNGRY CHILDREN DO NOT LEARN WELL ……so we provide three meals a day.
KITCHENS, COOKS, FOOD AND FUEL COST £30,000 p.a.
Feeding a child costs £6 a month (with Gift Aid)
……..CALLING ALL HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS ……
Our on site Medical Officer examines all our children regularly providing medical and psychological care as necessary, and she oversees the nutrition of the feeding programme. In addition she runs programmes in the community on birth control, sexual health (HIV /AIDS), and hygiene, identifying health related social problems so that we can work to resolve them before they affect our children. Where there is illness in a child’s family our medical officer will provide support to prevent it affecting a child’s school attendance.
Our Health Officer costs are £6,000 p.a. (20 donors contribution £20 a month (with Gift Aid) would meet this bill!)
